Information We Collect
We collect information to provide better services to all our users:
- Account Information: Email address and password via Firebase Authentication. You may also sign in with Google.
- Images & Text: When you take a photo or type a homework question, this data is processed to provide AI-powered solutions.
- Audio: If you use voice input, audio is recorded temporarily and transcribed. Audio is not stored after transcription.
- Usage Data: Device model, OS version, and general location (country level) for app stability and localized curriculum support.
Optional Personal Information
You may optionally provide your display name, phone number, date of birth, gender, school, and grade level. This is used solely to personalize your learning experience. You can view, edit, or delete this anytime in the Profile section.
SECTION 02
Third-Party Services & AI Processing
- Google Firebase: Secure authentication, Firestore database, and cloud functions with enterprise-grade security.
- Google Gemini API: AI features process your prompts through Gemini models. Data is used ONLY to generate answers and is NOT used to train public AI models.
- Google AdMob: Rewarded video ads for free-tier users. Configured with non-personalized ads only for enhanced privacy.
- RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions securely through the Google Play Store.

How We Use Your Data
- To provide AI-powered homework solutions, quizzes, flashcards, and professional coding tools.
- To store your solution history so you can review past work (disable in Settings).
- To manage your account, subscriptions, and preferences.
- To improve app stability and performance.
We do not sell your photos, homework data, or personal information to advertisers or any third parties.
SECTION 04
Data Retention & Deletion
- Images: Processed in memory only — not stored on our servers after solutions are generated.
- Solution History: Stored in your Firebase account. Delete individual items or clear all anytime.
- Account Data: Retained only as long as your account is active.
Use the "Delete Account" feature in Settings, or email aditya@logicpulse.live. Data is purged within 30 days.
SECTION 05
Your Rights
- Access: View all your data in the Profile and History sections.
- Delete: Delete your account and ALL associated data from Settings.
- Export: Copy or share any solution.
- Opt-out: Disable solution history saving in Settings > Preferences.
SECTION 06
Children's Privacy
LogicPulse is designed for students. If you are under 13 (US) or 16 (EU/other regions), please use this app only with parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiers from children without parental consent.
SECTION 07
Security
- All data encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
- Firebase Authentication secures accounts with industry-standard methods.
- Firestore Security Rules ensure only you can access your data.
SECTION 08
Permissions
- Camera: Scan homework problems and code from photos.
- Photo Library: Select images from your gallery for scanning.
- Microphone: Voice input for dictating problems.
- Internet: Required for AI processing and cloud features.
SECTION 09
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Effective Date" at the top. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
